New beginnings (September 2019)

Another teaching year is almost upon us. This will be my 23rd and I still reflect on my first where, as I had been told to do, I went through the module handbook and the assessments and watched my students eyes slowly glaze over. How things have changed.

I know many colleagues are also very experienced and look forward to the start of the new year with enthusiasm and optimism, relishing the opportunity to ‘light some fires’.

But some may be new to teaching and pondering how to make the most of your Blackboard site, your module handbook or even your opening lesson. If you’d like some ideas kick around a few ideas to help things get off smoothly, or with a bang, depending on your preference, then please drop me an email.
