I was a terrible student. Easily distracted. Leaving everything to the last minute. Spending more time creating my revision timetable (it was a brilliant matrix, colour-coded and everything) than actually revising…. Ooh look, shiny thing… where was I. Oh yes, so the biggest problem was not really knowing what I should be doing (apart from reading) and then not being sure if what I was reading was useful… is this going to be in the exam? I recognise for a lot of my students it is the same, and who knows what impact more remote learning is going to have.
So here’s the thing, I’ve been working on a study guide for my final year module. It's a week by week, step by step guide to lectures, reading and seminar prep. I’ve taken advice about student health and mental well-being and also about decolonising. If it's something you think you could use then just drop me a line.
